Course description

Evidence-based medicine is the conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of patients. The primary goal in this class is to outline the elements of evidence and guide student finding and appraising the current available evidence. This class also help student develop skills in writing and presenting scientific and technical information in specific forms and for a variety of audiences and purposes.

 

Contents

• Definition of evidence-based in early intervention. Introduction and application of literature and clinical evidence. Empircal clinical discussion.
• Introduction and use of search engine, keyword selection and query. Use of literature processing software, literature organization and outline. Data classification, literature review practice, review report writing, conference and journal abstract writing practice.
