Assistive Technology Lab.
The Assistive Technologies Laboratory (AT Lab) has been furnished to be functional for class activities and research activities, and to be a welcoming environment for human subjects visiting for related studies. It has a workstation for hand-on splint fabricating, and is also a show room for mobility devices (a standard wheelchair/ child posture adjusting wheelchair), with other devices such as communicating and operational devices on the future add-on list. In addition, the lab has equipments for kinetic and kinematic analysis:
Biopac MP150 workstation with Acq software for kinetic and kinematic data acquisition and analysis, such as EMG for muscle power monitor and electro-goniometer for capturing joint trajectory.
Knee/ankle continuous passive motion devices for lower extremity rehabilitation and research.
